Lincoln County Weed Board Member

 

The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners seeks to appoint a new at-large member to its County Weed Board.  Any person registered to vote & residing in Lincoln County is eligible to be a member.  The Lincoln County Weed Board meets between 4 to 6 times per year.  It is responsible for implementing and pursuing an effective program for the control of weeds and pests within Lincoln County.  It is comprised of seven members – 1 county commissioner, 1 at-large member, and 1 member from each of the five commissioner districts.  Members are reimbursed for mileage & paid $35.00 per each meeting attended.
