Redistricting Meeting Schedule (PDF)
Lincoln County’s Growth Leads to Big Redistricting Decisions February 1st
Lincoln County is divided into five districts, each with a commissioner representing that district at the County
Commission meetings held the first, second, and fourth Tuesdays of each month. The boundaries of those districts are about to change due to population growth, and the people of Lincoln County can have input on how.
An individual from the Southeastern Council of Governments (SECOG) will present proposed Commissioner redistricting options and answer questions at five meetings where public input is welcome and encouraged.
If someone cannot attend one of the meetings, they could also offer their comments through the Lincoln County website, lincolncountysd.org, or by contacting the Auditor’s Office.
