Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) is required for all youth exhibiting beef cattle, dairy cattle, dairy goats, meat goats, sheep, swine, poultry and rabbits. Cloverbuds are exempt.
Lincoln County 4-H will host five trainings in March. On March 18, trainings will be held at the SDSU Southeast Research Farm, 29974 University Road, Beresford, from 1-2 p.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m. Participation is limited to 15 individuals at these trainings.
On March 19, trainings will be held at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds, 27711 SD HWY 17, Lennox, from 10-11 a.m. and 2-3 p.m. Participation is limited to 50 individuals at these trainings.
On March 23, training will be held at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds, 27711 SD HWY 17, Lennox, from 6-7 p.m. Participation is limited to 50 individuals at this training.
Online registration is required on the YQCA site at $3 per participant, which is paid online during registration.
