FOR SALE BY SEALED BIDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners will be accepting sealed bids for the following surplus property: one (1) 2018 Dodge Charger, VIN 2C3CDXKT2JH297937, 125,041 miles. Bids will be received until Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. and will be publicly opened and read at 10:05 a.m. in the Auditor’s Office that same day. Bid will be awarded by the County Board between 8:35 a.m. and adjournment of the September 7, 2021, Lincoln County Commission Meeting in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room on the first floor of the Lincoln County Courthouse.
Each bid must be accompanied by a check made payable to the Lincoln County Treasurer for an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of bid. All bids shall be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked “Bid on Surplus Vehicle” and vehicle identification such as “(VEHICLE: A) 2018 Dodge Charger”. Bids may be hand-delivered or mailed to the Lincoln County Auditor, 104 N. Main Street, Ste. 110, Canton, SD 57013. Interested potential bidders may schedule an opportunity to inspect the vehicles by calling the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office at 605-764-2581.
The Lincoln County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the bids that are to the advantage of and in the best interest of the County.
